* Draw a design or trace an image on the Shrinky Dinks sheet and color it with permanent markers. * Always use the markers on the smooth side of the sheet. * Cut out the image if you want to use it as a keychain or jewelry; punch a hole in it beforehand. * Ask an adult to place the image on a piece of aluminum foil in an oven preheated to 175°C. * With the heat, the image will curl and then flatten. * Remove it from the oven. * Let it cool by placing it immediately under a heavy object, such as a book, until hardened. * The image is now 3 times smaller and 9 times thicker!
