Clairefontaine Cyanotype Pencil Pot - 8.5 x 8.5 x 11 cm

Clairefontaine Cyanotype Pencil Pot is a square organiser measuring 8.5 x 8.5 x 11 cm, featuring four triangular sections for storing pencils and small stationery items, finished with a grained paper surface featuring cyanotype-inspired botanical patterns. The structured construction provides a stable and practical solution for organising writing instruments, keeping contents upright, separated and easy to access on the desktop. The design draws on the cyanotype process, capturing delicate botanical forms in deep blue tones, reflecting the intersection of scientific study and visual artistry. Four-section internal layout allows for clear separation of items, supporting efficient organisation within a compact and space-saving format. Part of the Clairefontaine Cyanotype collection, created in collaboration with Invincible Été, this range pays tribute to Anna Atkins, the 19th century English botanist who pioneered the cyanotype process. Using sunlight and photosensitive chemistry, her work captured intricate plant forms with remarkable precision, transforming scientific documentation into a lasting visual language that continues to inspire a dialogue between nature, observation and creative expression.
