The variety designation is laser marked on the coffee ball, without any printing ink. During the percolation process, this mark becomes moist and eventually becomes invisible. The ball is 100% compostable at home and decomposes within a few weeks in a humid environment.
An ecological and recyclable cardboard packaging with a fine protective film protects the coffee balls from oxygen and humidity. In addition, the coffee balls are packaged in a protective atmosphere to ensure an intact pleasure throughout the entire shelf life.
Furthermore, the same rules for freshly ground coffee apply: after opening, it is recommended to store the coffee balls in a dry place at room temperature or refrigeration temperature. This allows them to be stored for up to three months even after opening.
