The intestinal flora, also known as gut microbiota, refers to all the living microorganisms in our intestines. There are over one hundred trillion of them. A balanced microbiota has both a great diversity and a large quantity of bacteria (also called micro-biotic strains). The micro-biotic strains are protected from the acidity of the stomach by enteric-coated capsules. This way, the bacteria arrive alive in the intestine.
Each capsule contains 4 micro-biotic strains:
Lactobacillus plantarum
Lactobacillus rhamnosus
Lactobacillus acidophilus
Lactobacillus helveticus
